Last weekend a true legend of Donoughmore GAA club Frankie Honohan turned 80 years of age. Frankie, a former chairman of the club, was one of the driving forces behind the purchase of our own grounds, Páirc Eoin Mhic Chártaigh. He was also a selector on one of the most succesful ladies teams of all time, the Cork senior ladies football team between 2004-2017. During that time the team won 11 All Irelands and never lost a match in Croke Park.
To thank Frank and his wife Nell for their enormous contribution to the club down through the years, the club presented him with a framed jersey. Below are some of the pictures taken at the presentation.
